Healthcare professional Dr. Carole Lane is a veteran in her industry and is currently the Vice President and Physician at Lane Medical Group. Dr. Carole Lane began working at the Monroeville, Alabama-based facility nearly two decades ago, and she is continuing to use her varied skills to treat patients. Dr. Carole Lane is a dermatologist and an echocardiographer. As a dermatologist, Dr. Lane specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of afflictions related to the skin, hair, and nails, especially identifying and treating skin cancer. When she was not in the classroom, Carole Lane served as the President of the Society for Physics Students and taught physics laboratory courses. Dr. Lane continued on her medical path at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, where she received her M.D. in the early 1980s. Carole C. Lane went on to earn her postgraduate degrees in Internal Medicine and Dermatology. Outside of the her medical capacity, Carole Lane likes to keep busy by playing tennis, water skiing, and snow skiing. Expressing her more creative side, Dr. Lane is an active member of her church choir and performs solos several times per year. Dr. Lane also has her private pilot license and, in her spare time, likes to get behind the controls of a Cirrus SR22-G2.
