Jason I Scuba in Akumal myself with the Padi Association but not certified as of yet just a novice still have not gotten out of the pool into the water. It is a lot to learn and do. Sounds nice to have gotten certified with your wife. I assume you get the Padi Diver Association Magazine too?

My wife and I were SCUBA certified in Akumal several years ago. A great experience. And, if you want what I consider to be the only remaining jungle territory left in that area of the world travel through the biosphere and stay at Sol Caribe. Tell Michael I said hello.

You know this place rocks and offers great food like Chicago is used too! As well as Great Entertainment and not to mention 5th Avenue for the world renown shopping.
