The landscape of America's workforce is changing...
For the first time in modern history, workplace demographics now span four generations, meaning that 20 year old new hires can find themselves working side-by-side with colleagues who are older then they are by 50 years or more.
Our current labor market consists of four distinct generations, and each comprise unique strengths, expectations, motivations and work styles.The prospect of managing and working within these groups consisting of such a wide potential age range presents several challenges, but can also yield significant opportunities!
This group was created to help members understand the attitudes, lifestyles and behaviors unique to each generation. Whether you are a fellow employee, hiring manager or CEO, a firm understanding of the multigenerational workforce will help to bridge the generational gap, promote more effective communication among co-workers and will set the stage for a happier work environment.
