Hello to all at CB,

I wanted to ask about a position that was advertised for CB for a Front-End HTML Developer. I wanted to know what qualifications were absolutely necessary and if it was an entry level position available to new grads. I'm currently attending Devry for their AS in Web Graphics but I wanted to focus more on web development. I'm currently reading several books on xhtml and css and will soon be getting into javascript. Any other resources that you can help to point out would be great!

Much appreciated and thank you all at CB!

Hi

I find CB being a very good site and during the last three weeks I have learned a lot from the CB site. I would say CB is great and with time it will get developed to answer the high demand of consumer based request of customizations for one.

Great CB.

@Suketu - I love working for CareerBuilder! The Norcross office is a totally laid-back, casual environment. I work in the Technology department here.

Our dept has a relatively flat management structure (in most cases there's your manager, then the CTO is the next level up). Each software development team has about 6 ppl in it, and you'd work in pairs on assignments. We use agile development methodologies.

One of the things I really like about my job is that there's no compartmentalization of functions. No waiting on specs from a business analyst, or handing off to a QA department. You do it all. So there's no room for folks who want to just coast through their jobs. I get work with really smart, driven people every day.
