I work for the world's nastiest, but, nicest, guy. Some days he pushes me hard, some days he sends me on some out of site, fantastic vacations and pays ME for going on them!

That guy is me....of course!

James, I have the opposite end of the spectrum. I am an experienced executive who was terminated 5 years ago and is still trying to get the position I desire (I do know it's out there). You have a great attitude. Most young grads expect to start out at the top of the heap and when they don't are most frustrated and happy. I landed the corporate position I had by word of mouth and was most grateful and know that's the bottom line. Absolutely do some volunteering to get more experience - you never know who you're going to meet.

James it is important to network here. Try to get connected with a Job Search Focus Group in your area, as well as attend Career Fairs. These are at least two avenues that are specifically looking for new or recent graduates in almost any field.

Also volunteering is excellent advise. I can not verbalize how many job opportunities are won at the local community support or help agency. These organizations are frequently sponsored by large corporations and many of the board members are also decision makers in the hiring process of their respective firms. This is something definitely worth considering.

Appreciate the advice everyone. Will probably have to pick up a second job if thats what it takes.

That is good advice Kent. James try looking for internships with city and corporate offices as well - you gain the experience (it pays little) but you will progress quickly within your arena!

Hi group, thanks for accepting me. James, as a new graduate getting some experience is important, try volunteering at a non-profit one or two days a week, just for a few hours.
Anyone with some advise on preparing for the law school admission test?

I am having trouble finding administrative and professional job opportunities at the entry level that will hire recent college graduates with little or no experience. Once i can gain some professional work experience, finding employment opportunity will not be as difficult as it is now. Any advise?
