No dress code can cover all contingencies so employees must exert a certain amount of judgment in their choice of clothing to wear to work. If you experience uncertainty about acceptable, professional formal business attire for work, please ask your supervisor or your Human Resources staff.

Estavan:

I recently got an Albert Nipon winter black wool maxi coat with inside black faux fur are they still trendy for the winter?

Amanda,
I think it makes sense per industry which runs paralell to your statement. I was mainly looking for feedback because I want to know what image most people expect to see from today's current representatives. Bankers and office workers most obviously dress business professional, however my field representatives are responsible not only for face to face but also climbing the roof when necessary

I have a question about the construction aspect: Do you think that the type of job you work for shouldn't wear jeans either? Previously you stated you don't think denim is professional, but in your line of work isn't it acceptable?
I also see it everywhere. I don't think it's professional depending on the job you are in. I think denim jeans are useful for a job where you are doing heavy work, constantly on your knees, etc. Denim is made to be able to withstand a lot of wear and tear. However I do not feel it is appropriate for an office position and jobs such as those.

Dear Group,

Contrary to popular belief I don't think denim is professional, however I see it all over the place and wondered if anyone had feedback on that!

Dear Jeanetta,

Thanks for the info. I have a new business however most of my leads come from word of mouth. Its hard for the neighbors not to notice when you have refurbished a home in their area. With winter on the way I am looking into new ways of marketing. (i.e. direct mail campaign) Anyone with any other ideas your thoughts are welcome.
