The objective for this community is to explore the possibilities of establishing the proper balance between businesses making a profit while meeting the needs of the consumer vs. businesses crossing that “invisible line” of being unethical while making a profit.

1) What value system (known as “the invisible line
number1”) should we establish for the marketplace:
a. From the consumer viewpoint

c. From the government and legal system
2) Where does traditional or modern morality come
into play or is there no place for morality in
today’s global society?
3) If the market place has a need for a product or
service, and businesses can fulfill the need,
then businesses have an obligation (known as
the “invisible line 2”) to meet the need of the
