Discussion for this group will revolve around the changing nature of higher education, including: distance learning growing international student population, non-traditional student needs, collaborative and team based learning, and the future of higher education. The idea for this group is geared towards individuals, consisting of educators in community colleges, four-year colleges and universities, and trade schools. In addition to educators, members will hopefully be comprised of current and future students that can offer a firsthand perspective on ways to improve the educational experience. The expectation should be to develop an earnest dialogue on the future of higher education and to provide a sounding board for students and professionals to better understand the changing needs of higher education.
