Founded 8/31/2008
About
Dedicated to those who work in a multi-platform based environment working on various types of systems which are the backbone of the workforce weather it be a MS. Windows Active Directory Infrastructure with Exchange or Unix / Linux servers running the services or both together. Or something completely different like an OSX server or mainframe environment. There is so much more that just that in most cases while working the role as a system administrator. This is just barely touching the surface.

Hello Everyone,

I recently graduated from college with a BBA, concentration in Business Information Systems. Unfortunately, I am having trouble finding a job in my field of IT. I have internship experience and I am currently pursing some IT certifications. However, I am assuming that many companies are looking for just a little more than entry-level experience. I'm confused though because everybody has to start somewhere. Anyway, If anyone has any leads on IT positions(ex:Data Analyst, System Analyst, Business Object Report Developer, etc.) seeking recent college graduates, they would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help!

You Might want to put some pillows on the wall becasue its about to get worse for us. Unless we move out of country, and can survive on $3,000 a month.

Good day to you all!

My career field and base knowledge is installing telecommunications wiring, fiber and equipment. I relocated to Colorado from Michigan and I'm glad I did. The weather is great and the mountains are fantastic. My wife and I decided that I should travel to Colorado in search for work because we're tired of banging our heads against the wall in Michigan.

What exactly are you learning right now in your first year of a computer science degree? I am just curious because I know a lot of people who are pursuing a computer science degree. A lot of them say that they are into programming such as C and/or C++ etc... Some say they are touching base on lots of different areas such as cisco routers and basic computing. I guess it all depends...
