UH...you might want to put that coffee cup down and see what I have to offer...I have a JOB for the RIGHT person. Bottom line here is I have fired my previous literary agent, wanted the commission, but didn't want to work. So, I got fed up and sent the little weasel on his way.
I am looking for a maverick, someone that can think for themselves and push aside all the staid and stodgy rules in the publishing world.
Job Qualifications:
A. Have a good working knowledge of the publishing
world.
B. Have a proven track record in sales and promotions
(references WILL BE checked)
C. Be willing to put in twenty to thirty hours weekly
promoting my second novel
D. Willing to be paid on commission basis only(15%
is the industry standard)
E. Must have the capability to think on their feet
I have the product, if you're hungry enough, you will
put in the time and effort to promote my product.
Do you have the qualifications? More importantly, do you have the COURAGE to plunge into the shark infested waters of writers and publishers? Guess you'll never know until you try...right?
Mind you, I am NO nonsense and very exacting and expect results when I tell you I expect them when it comes down to business and money.
