About
Christian Based Community - Growing In Christ - Principles For Living

Group Established By Faithful Sisters Growing In Christ Who Are Serious About Our Walk In Jesus Christ.

The main objective for this group is to encourage one another in love, in deed and in the word of God. To do the work of the Lord, to share our spiritual experiences and revelations as God has revealed them to us as we walk this journey of life in Christ.

We are called out. Our divine mission is to be more like Christ. To think less of ourselves and more of others. To walk in our divine calling and be a blessing to some one else. Work whole heartedly to the glory of the Lord.

God has transferred us from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of brightness of his love in His dear Son, Christ Jesus. We are the citizens of the holy city, "Zion", the "New Jerusalem". "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you." Isaiah 60:1 (NIV)

We are beacons and lights for this dark and dying world.

In everything we do, let it be done to the glory of God our Father, in Heaven, so the brightness of his glory can shine through you.

Now grow in love towards one another.

Jesus gave a new command to his disciples and this we must do:
John 13:34 (NIV) "A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." By this, we will be known, by men, as disciples of Jesus Christ and children of God.

I am prayerful that this group, "Sisters With A Purpose, Walking In Faith", will be a blessing to you.

Welcome to the family.

My soul is exceedingly weary of hearing over and over again, Know who you are in Christ! From what I understand of the scriptures, the scriptures caution me to examine myself to see whether I am in Christ at all, not with an absolute but with a warning to examine myself by the WORD and His commandments, and the scriptures, and see if I truly am in Christ and Christ is in me, and see if I am growing in His image, image by image every day, and that does not mean that I am growing by sinning less and less and doing more righteousness and more righteousness. It means that I am seeing more righteousness every day to do, to add unto my righteousness, a deeper righteousness, a higher righteousness, adding righteousness unto righteousness, for when I repented and was baptized for my sins, and received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, I was washed and cleansed of my former sins, for the scriptures do say, former sins. Being cleansed of former sin simply means what it says, former sins. I was cleansed of my former sins. Rom. 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; 22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference: 23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God; 24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: 25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; 26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus. We are made just at the receiving of Jesus Christ through repentance, baptism, and being filled with His Holy Spirit, being made just with GOD our Father at that moment, we being conceived only, but not yet born again. Then, the Holy Spirit goes on to justify us after having made us right and just with the Father, canceling out our former sins, we beginning anew and afresh to then become justified, and then sanctified, sanctification then having created us into living sons and daughters of GOD, we being born again in Jesus Christ. After I am forgiven my former sins, and have become justified before God, there then begins the leading of the scriptures and the Holy Spirit lifting me up and up and up into more righteousness which I see, and I see more and more and more of His righteousness to attain, contain, gain, and retain. Then there comes a time when we are new creatures in Christ, all things becoming new, re-created, we becoming sanctified in Jesus Christ, born again!

One does not gain righteousness by ceasing sin. One gains righteousness by seeing sin before sin occurs, and turning away from the doing of it. One sees in the scriptures by the leading of the Holy Spirit, righteousness face to face, and then follows it and pursues it and gains and obeys it to the saving of the soul. Heb. 5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto all them that obey him. If one is in Christ, he is a new creature, and if he is not a new creature, he is not in Christ. If one is in Christ and Christ in them, they are led by and through His Spirit, and His Spirit is truth, righteousness, love and peace! 2nd Cor. 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. That is being born again!

Concerning this truth of being in Christ, the concern is not myself, but who are the 'others' that say they are in Christ. For Jesus told me to beware of wolves; beware of pigs; beware of false prophets; beware of scribes; beware of Pharisees; beware of Herods; and the big guy, beware of satan! You know a pig, for a pig is a reviler and justifier. He will turn on you and rend you for pigs love the dirt, love sin, love rebellion, love the mud, love to lay in the mud, love to roll in the mud of self! You know a wolf by those who are angry at righteousness and they get offended at the hard, narrow way of righteousness, hating correction. You know a false prophet. A false prophet teaches doctrines that are not those of the gospel of Jesus Christ. You know a dishonest scribe by those writings he or she writes that are contrary to the gospel of Jesus Christ. You know a Pharisee because he says and does not, but is found to be a liar to his own profession of truth, he keeping not his own word. You know a Pharisee also because of his greed, his idols, his works, his self laws. You know a Herod by his hypocrisy to what he speaks, speaking and doing not, a lying hypocrite even to his own hypocrisy, being filled with greed and idols, being overflowing with self interest, self promotions, and self glory, a liar to the core of his being, a filthy root, a filthy tree, corrupted on the inside and white washed with the word on the outside. Satan is bathed with the scriptures, covered with the word, filled with the word, yet is filled with murder, and lying, and stealing, and fruits nothing but corruption and decay and death with everything and everyone he touches. He leaves his footprints and fingerprints on everyone and everything and everywhere, for every single day as Jesus said, sufficient is the evil we must deal with, in the world, in our own selves, in others, and especially we must be about protecting our own minds and hearts, filling and covering them with the scriptures. This is the evil day.... THE EVIL DAY!

Our LORD Jesus also told us that our enemies are of the brethren and of our own households. The brethren, families, friends, all of them, demand loyalty, servitude, love, affection, and duty. So, who are we in Christ? Jesus Christ was embodied with His Father, and His brethren crucified Him. The Scribes and Pharisees conspired against Him to kill Him, and they crucified Him. They accused Him of casting out evil spirits by the powers of Beelzebub. They accused Him of breaking the Sabbath, of disobeying the laws, and most of all, of blasphemy, Jesus calling Himself the Son of GOD, saying He and His Father were One. They called Him evil, satanical, and by and through the seclusion of darkness, shed His blood, saying, let His blood be upon us and our children, and so the crucified blood of the LORD Jesus Christ, the judgment of it, is yet upon Israel, and every Jew since the crucifying of Jesus Christ. Matt. 27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

To know who I am in Christ, I must first know who Jesus Christ is! Jesus said, do not come to me laying your life on the altar to receive forgiveness, until you have righted and redeemed your fellowship with man. For if you cannot have a tender heart and conscience when you sin against man, how is it you feel you have a conscience of sin against Me? How can you say you love my Father and hate men, made in GOD's image? You do not and cannot! John the Baptist said to the Pharisees when they came to be forgiven and baptized for their sins, bring forth works meet for repentance. Matt. 3:7 But when he, (John) saw many of the Pharisees and Sadducees come to his baptism, he said unto them, O generation of vipers, who hath warned you to flee from the wrath to come? 8 Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance. John came preaching and ministering the baptism for the forgiveness of sins. It was not Jesus who brought forth the baptism for the remission of sin, but John, and John baptized Jesus also, to fulfill righteousness, as written of Jesus. Until we are made right with man, we shall not be made right with GOD. He will simply not forgive us until we repent and be restored to those we have sinned against. You who are fighting sin every day of your life, and fighting and warring evil thoughts every day of your life, and you who are yet bound in your sins, get right with man and then ask the Father in Christ Jesus to forgive you your sins. You must do that. You are not in Christ until Christ is in you, and Christ is not given to you by the Father until you are made right with man. It is hard! It is straight! It is narrow! It is the truth! Every day you must be made right with man, must be forgiven and forgive!

So if a man has committed adultery against his wife, and comes to the altar to receive forgiveness from GOD, trying to come into the kingdom of GOD through a window and not the door, the scriptures say, go first and repent to your wife, and then come and I shall forgive you. Or if a man has stolen a thousand dollars from his employer, and comes to the altar to be forgiven his thievery, the scriptures say. Oh, no! Lay your gift down and go and pay back what you stole, and repent for what you have done, and then come and I will forgive you. For we never hear about works of repentance. We never hear ministers preaching about restoration. Those that do preach and teach restorative works of repentance and forgiving grace, are accused of preaching law and not grace. They are accused of preaching works and not grace. The scriptures say we must first seek peace, and then holiness, which without which none of us shall see the LORD. Without peace, we can recover from nothing. We must seek peace with man and with GOD. The blood of Jesus Christ shed for our sins makes us right with His Father, but we ourselves must make things right with man. Let no man think he shall be received of the Father if he will not humble himself to those he has sinned against, and ask them to forgive him for those things he has done and also has failed to do, and not only ask to be forgiven, but to do works of repentance and restoration wherever possible. We must without question, yoke ourselves with humility in order to have grace in order to have peace in order to have forgiveness in order to have eternal life. We must shed exaltation as if it were a plague, for it truly is a plague of the spirit wrought by the powers of darkness. But who knows what sin is? Who knows what righteousness is? For all things seem right to a person in his own eyes. The doctrine of no sin and no hell is flooding and drowning the earth in its treachery and deception.

We pray, Our Father, which art in heaven. Hallowed be thy name. Understand, Jesus gave this prayer to His own, and included Himself in that by saying, Our Father..... You need to understand that. That is a prayer for those who are born again in Christ Jesus, those who know who He is, and know who they are in Him. The scriptures say a person born again, sins not. The scriptures say a person is not born again but is of the devil yet if he or she continues to willfully sin. A person who is born again sins against none, not GOD, not any one. Jesus said, one born again cannot sin, for that one is a good tree, and it cannot produce corrupted fruit.

You have heard it said, While we were yet sinners Christ Jesus died for us..... Hear the truth.... The truth is. While GOD hated us, Christ died for us. For the scriptures say the LORD despises and hates the wicked all the day long. So while even GOD the Father despised us and hated us, He still sacrificed Jesus Christ for us, and through His shed blood we have remission of our sins. While and even though GOD hated us, still He died for us. Is that not love without measure? Is that not love unimaginable? Is not that love unable to be understood? However is it not written that man would hardly die for a righteous man, let alone die for an evil man? There you have it. GOD hated man and still died for Him. My brethren, that is love! That is the love of Christ. So when you hear men say, know who you are in Christ, do you love as Christ loved and loves? Did not Jesus say they will know you are my disciples if you have love one for another? Do not the scriptures say we know we have passed from death to life because we love the brethren? Is it not written we are to lay down our lives to and for the brethren?

Truly, know who Jesus Christ is..... truly, know who you are in Christ.... and truly, very truly, know if you are in Him and He is in you. For we have this solemn warning out of the mouth of Jesus even now as He sits on the right hand of His Father in heaven, for He is speaking directly to His own children, to you and me. Rev. 3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead. 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God. 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee. 4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels. 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Believe not the heretics and soothsayers that say you cannot get blotted out of the book of life after having been written in. Believe them not. Believe the scriptures. Believe Jesus! Fear GOD! Amen.

Are we hears only or are we doing something with the word of God that we hear?

There are many biblical references that explains what God wants from us, in relation to how we are to be in this world.

First commandment: love the Lord thy God with all your heart. Secondly, love thy neighbor as thyself.

He want us not to be hears only, but also He want us to be doers of the word.

Do you remember the story in the bible where the man was rob and left for dead? Luke 10:29-37

That's what loving thy neighbor means. It is only hypocritical to love only those who are in your organization or who we know. That's the way of the pharisees. Jesus said to his followers that your righteousness must be more of that of the pharisees

Matthew 5:20
For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Jesus set the example for us. If we are truly his, we are to walk as He walked.

If you can, be a blessing to someone today.

MY AMAZING JOURNEY

This journey I am currently on started sometime ago
What God had planned for me I really did not know
He needed to get my attention and that He was able to do
He had to humble me and strip away my pride too.

He pulled my life out from under me and took everything away
The only choice I had was to surrender to doing things His way
Fasting and praying is where this process started to begin
Brokenness and repentance brought forgiveness and cleansing from sin.

I must make a choice between righteousness and sin
The battle rages on which one of these will win
The one I feed the most is the one that will win the fight
The one that I obey shows if I am walking in darkness or light.

By putting on the whole armor of God I am prepared to fight the war
Being strong in His mighty power makes me more than a conqueror
By bringing every thought captive temptations lure I can flee
By walking in the Spirit sin loses its influence over me.

He is renewing me on the inside and giving me a brand new start
He is changing my life and creating in me a clean and pure heart
I am learning to trust in Him resulting in love, joy and peace
Bringing everything to Him in prayer is how the worries cease.

I am finding out His ways are the paths that lead to the abundant life
When I humble myself and obey it brings about blessings and not strife
I am growing in my faith and learning He is faithful, just and true
Changing me into the image of His Son is what He is committed to.

I am learning that by bearing much fruit I can bring Him glory
By abiding in His word my life is becoming a part of His story
I am being transformed by the renewing of my mind
By daily taking up my cross His plan for my life I find.

I have not lacked anything God has been faithful to provide
He has answered prayer His praises I cannot keep inside
The miracles I have seen Him do give me a reason to rejoice
It is His way of confirming that putting Him first is the right choice.
