I work for the world's nastiest, but, nicest, guy. Some days he pushes me hard, some days he sends me on some out of site, fantastic vacations and pays ME for going on them!

That guy is me....of course!

Interested? email me @ jwridgeway@embarqmail.com

TEENS & TWEENS

Anybody out there have teens and/or tweens in your household? If so, how's it going for you? I've got 15/Boy, 12/Girl, & 10/Boy. Some days it's just nuts.

Jennifer,

I think you should go for it. It might be a blessing in disguise because your kids are school age. While they are at school, you can be at school too. You all can do your "homework" at the same time. You would be showing them that it's never too late for anything (and help them establish good study habits).

Good luck because no matter what you decide it will take courage.

Hi, I am new to the group and just wanted to stop in and introduce myself! My name is Jennifer and I am a full time wife and mother of 2 girls, ages 8 and 5. I recently lost a full time job in finance due to this crazy economy we are all struggling with. But I am keeping an open mind that this was a blessing in disquise. I am thinking about going back to school to get my cosmetology license. This is something I always wanted to do,but never could find the courage or the time. I am looking forward to finding some new friends and getting involved with the group.

Hello, I am new and am happy to know I am not the only mother who is frustrated and overwhelmed. I work about 15 hours per week as a group fitness trainer and I am the primary caregiver of my son, who is 4.
I am also carving out a new career for myself in the world and that is complicated to juggle along with my hectic home and fitness demands. I am looking forward to learning and sharing in the group.

Hey guys, I am new to the group! Just thought I would stop in and introduce myself. My name is Laura and I am a 24 year old Mother of 1. I stay at home full time with my baby girl and work my own home based business. I have also recently received my Cosmetology license and do a little of that from home as well.
I am looking forward to getting to know a lot of new and interesting friends!

Thanks Fahmida and Julie. It is really the hardest job there is in the world - being a full time mom. When you add full time student or employee on top of being a mother, no one else should complain about being too busy. I can honestly say that this is the most fulfilled my life has ever been. It's tough, but well worth every tear drop, bead of sweat and blood shed.

I'm glad I came across this group. I feel like I can vent here.

I should probably get back to one of these projects, but thank you to the members of this group. I AM INSPIRED!!!

I know the feeling. My Statistics Final Exam is scheduled for this 16th. I don't know which chapter to study first ! But don't worry. We'll get through this. We're doing it for a good reason and we'll do just fine as long as we put sincere effort into it. Pretty soon it's gonna be over :)

Hello everyone,

Right now is a tough time for me. I have finals this week, a project due for a class and a project due for my internship. It's been a rough semester and I have one more to go.

My plan is to attend and complete grad school before my son (2 yrs old) is in kindergarten. I formulated this plan hoping that after obtaining my masters degree and beginning a career that I would still be able to eat at least one meal and spend some quality time with my son.

Am I crazy? This semester is going so bad that I almost had the guts to give up.

I guess I'm writing this looking for similar stories or words of encouragement.

Thanks.
