Spent last two years in Iraq supporting Coalition Forces. Was initially assigned to a two-man team requested to engineer a repair for leaking fuel storage bags (93000 gallon capacity). Resulting efforts saved $1.2 million dollars. Received comendation & promotion. Assigned Foremans position managing approximately 100 personnel and maintaining a fleet of over 1,000 vehicles and equipment, heavy trucks moving 1.2 million gallons of fuel daily, armored cars, construction equipment, etc. Promoted to Health, Safety, & Environmental as Site Inspector for buildings, living camps and work sites, and as Investigator for accidents and injuries. Assignments included investigation into 'shower deaths' where person getting into shower was shocked or electrocuted. Resulting investigation found condensation build-up from showers gathered water into electric connection box and shorted out the shower pipes and water. Resolved by drilling 1/8th inch hole in all electric boxes in showers units
