About Me
I am a graduate research assistant in mechanical engineering at Texas A&M University. I will be getting my Master's in December 2008 and am still looking for a starting position. I received my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Central Florida. I'd like to move back to central Florida and work as a mechanical or aerospace engineer upon defending my thesis. I have three years experince performing research for the gas turbine industry which has provided me with a strong background in thermfluids and combustion. My perfect job would be in this field and located between Orlando and West Palm Beach. My second choice is a job in this field in a warm statee. My third choice would be a job in this field located anywheres in the United States.

I was instrumental in the design and building of a high pressure shock tube, including but not limited to the design of the vacuum system and driven section of shock tube. I have extensive experience in performing combustion experiments using a shock tube and determiing gas dynamics, chemical kinetics, and ignition delay time data.
