About Me

I have 27 years in the safety/security industry through diverse arenas. Such as, Investigations; Loss prevention, Interviewing; Surveillance; Personal Assistance; Training; Backgrounds; CCTV Installations, digital and traditional methods. On a management level of experience I have held responsibilities as Security Director, Director of Loss Prevention, Lieutenant, Seargent, Captain, and Security Manager/Sr. Ranger.
I have introduced my experience to the Education sector by working closely with our high school students; gang affiliated or non-gang affiliated groups by making safety and awareness paramount for our students, staff and parents.
I bring integrity, respect, ethics, values and leadership to enhance the relationships among the campus climate by promoting the awareness of safety through demonstrating responsibility to students'. Furthermore, assist students to develop the tools they need to enhance their decision-making by developing 'Goals', 'Planning', and having a vision to succeed. On the other hand, tactfully, insure their awareness that discipline actions are deemed to be enforced where discipline is needed. This is done through one-on-one counseling with the student on intervention and prevention strategies by facilitating a conference with parent(s)/guardian if necessary. With this package, as Campus Security, School Attendance Review Board Coordinator, I bring an array of skills that will be an asset to any district with the essential values of perserverance and success.
Currently, I have a BA degree in Criminal Justice from Chapman University; following, in the fall of 2009,I will challenge the Masters program at Fresno Pacific University. After this discipline, I will bring my 29 years of security experience and four years in the Education sector to the table that show 'success' to any district and/or organization. I will bring the knowledge of in-depth research in campus safety; budgeting, training staff in intervention and prevention measures; and school violence. I will bring exceptional communication skills with professionalism; ethics, tact, patience, and listening skills through meetings with parents, administrative staff, school staff, parent(s)/guardians, law enforcement at State and local levels.
