About Me

I am a professional engineer with over 20 years of very diverse and extensive civil and environmental engineering experience in the design, and project and construction management of water and wastewater projects for municipal, military, industrial and clients including commercial and residential land development projects, roads, stormwater management systems, detention/retention structures and erosion/sediment control.

In my experience, I have accrued valuable hands on management and technical knowledge through previous employment with private civil engineering and A/E consulting firms as well as governmental agencies in fast paced and demanding environments.

    • Manage and review design and permitting of civil infrastructure and water and wastewater projects.
    • Provide technical support to civil, environmental, and project management departments for municipal, industrial and military projects with construction costs of up to $20 million.
    • Provide expertise in project management, design, modeling and trouble shooting of major and complex water and wastewater treatment plant and sewer conveyance projects.
    • Interact with municipal, military, industrial and private clients.
    • Prepare construction cost estimates, specifications, proposals, bid documents and feasibility studies.
    • Responsible for department QA/QC. Has corrected numerous QA/QC issues to lessen existing liabilities and implemented procedures to prevent and minimize future problems.
    • Review and coordinated LEED projects. The only LEED AP engineer within an organization of 300 plus employees. Brought in green building and sustainable design capabilities to the organization.
    • Responsible for SewerCad and WaterGems modeling and provided staff training. Brought this capability and expertise to the civil and infrastructure department and whole organization.
    • Participate in water and wastewater equipment selection and procurement, pilot testing and jar testing. Implemented innovative and cutting edge technologies and approach to improve efficiency and cost effectiveness to projects.
    • Perform construction administration and prepare construction management manual for the department.
    • Assist marketing department in preparing responses to RFQ’S and proposal submittals. Participate in charettes and formal presentations.
