Greetings,
Thank you for visiting my page.

I am a returning student in Horticulture and Landscaping.

I hope to supplement my current Associate degree in Journalism by learning more about growing flowers and vegetables as I believe the world needs continued beauty and,of course, we all need to eat more veggies! I hope to share my knowledge with others who aspire to this train of thought.

My writing career includes stints in newspaper and magazine writing. I have worked as Editor on several in-house newsletters, have written press releases and worked as Director of Communications for a non-profit planetarium and nature center.

My writing career began in grade school when I wrote an essay about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, in which my teacher saw talent and passed it around the whole school.

I have since been fortunate to also do internships for a newpaper and a cancer center.

My most recent efforts are online SEO writing for article directories. I aspire to increase my knowledge and portfolio while combining these with my love of gardening. My journalism background, however, has afforded me the capability to research and write on many other subjects.
