•Led and managed Company’s safety programs and policies, including enhancing the safety culture and leading the safety committee and emergency action team.
•Tracked and managed Company’s workers’ compensation claims and return to work program, including conducting accident investigations for each claim.
•Organized, scheduled, and occasionally instructed, annual and required safety training for approximately 160 employees at a 24/7 operation.
•Experience in OSHA and EPA compliance in relation to managing a safety program at a General Industry facility.
•Responsible for the implementation and oversight of a company’s Electrical Safety (Arc Flash) and Spill Prevention Controls and Countermeasures Programs.
•Experience in leading emergency medical teams in a General Industry setting.
•Experience ensuring compliance with Hazard Communication, Energy Control (LOTO), Electrical Safety, Emergency Action Plan and Bloodborne Pathogen Written Programs.
