I’ve worked in the security industry as a security guard since September of 2004. Although I've gained a good amount of experience in the security field, this is not what I really want to do for the rest of my life. I consider security to be part of law enforcement and that is not the career path I want to pursue.

My passion is writing, graphic design, and film making. I've been a writer all my life and I love to write. I have many stories that I've written and completed. I‘ve done self studying on screen writing and I feel that I do have a good understanding of how to write a screenplay. And I've been practicing writing screenplays to gain valuable experience. But I do know that there’s more that I can learn and I’d like to learn more.

I am also a video editor. I learned video editing in 2003 before I graduated from Katharine Gibbs College with an Associates degree in Digital Media Communications. Although I haven't had a video editing job, that hasn't stopped me from doing my own video editing projects. I do have a few years of video editing experience.

As for graphic design, I've also been doing my own graphic design projects since 2003. My main experience lies in Adobe Photoshop because I'm more of a picture designer. I've never been able to land a graphic design job, but I've done what I can to keep up my graphic design skills. I love being a graphic designer because it allows me to be creative and to create beautiful pieces of artwork that I put my heart and soul into. I thrive on my creativity.

Filmmaking is something I started studying because I want to pursue a career as a movie director/ producer/ editor/ screenwriter. I'm not in film school right now because I'm doing independent studying of film making. I have my own ideas for movies that I'd like to write, direct, and produce. And since I'm also a writer, I want to be able to gain valuable experience in the film making industry. And I know I can be happy in this field because it's creative. As I said before, I thrive on my creativity. I know it won't be easy working in this field, but I'm willing to still do it because it's something that I really want to do.
