Although I may be considered a recent graduate, I have over two years professional experience in the environmental testing arena. I learn quickly with hands-on experience and can prove to be independent with little to no direction from others. I am certified in polarized light microscopy and phase contrast microscopy with training in the preparation of samples for transmission electron microscopy. This may sound like a limitation of my skills but it can translate into an ease to learn other skills in the environmental and public health fields.
I am currently working in the environmental industry but my degree is rooted in the environmental health field. This is geared more toward the health and wellness of the worker in the industry rather than the industry itself. I am open to explore careers on either side of the industry.
