About Me

A 2007 graduate of the University of San Francisco School of Law, Ms. Cherie Beasley currently utilizes her considerable legal skills as an attorney at Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC in San Francisco, California. Cherie Beasley joined the team at Bay Area Criminal Lawyers in March 2008. Currently, Cherie Beasley focuses her work on immigration and criminal defense law. Before joining Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC, Cherie Beasley worked with the Marin County Public Defender’s office and a small private defense firm based in the San Francisco Bay Area. While enrolled at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Cherie Beasley distinguished herself among her peers on numerous occasions. Skilled in legal theory and practice, Cherie Beasley received the 2005 Best Oral Argument award and was a 2006 semi-finalist in the Advocate of the Year competition.

Prior to enrolling at the University of San Francisco School of Law, Cherie Beasley earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Organizational Communications from San Francisco State University, where she was an honors graduate. Cherie Beasley is professionally affiliated with a number of prominent legal organizations, including the American Bar Association, the California State Bar, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Beyond her work with Bay Area Criminal Lawyers, PC, Cherie Beasley is an active contributor to a number of charitable and philanthropic endeavors, including the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, the American Cancer Society, and the American Red Cross. Cherie Beasley also remains active with her law school alma mater as a coordinator for the USF Alumni Association.
