Chesley Paul Rafferty became Director of Marketing at CPR Marketing based in Perth, Australia in 2001. In this position, Rafferty has responsibility for all of the marketing of CPR’s programs and products including the publishing program; advertising and promotion, management of design and production of institution advertising and printed projects, electronic marketing, direct mail, market research, creating media sponsorship and promotional partnerships. Prior to his current position with CPR Marketing, Chesley also served as the Sales Manager for Messages On Hold Australia, the industry leader in the provision of audio marketing to customer waiting on hold. Rafferty began in 1998, and was so successful with the company while managing ten Sales Account Executives that he was honored as the Employee of the Year. Aside from his budding professional career, Chesley Rafferty is also a dedicated and involved member in his local community. Whenever and when he has the opportunity, Rafferty donates his time to Manna Industries, a charity kitchen devoted to serving the hungry/disadvantaged 1 good meal a day. Chesley also donates to Surf Life Saving Australia, Australia’s major water safety and rescue authority and one of the largest volunteer organizations in the country. He also considers himself a passionate Greenpeace supporter, an independent campaigning organization that uses non-violent direct action to expose global environmental problems and to force solutions which are essential to a green and peaceful future. Chesley Rafferty is a busy young man, but believes it to be important to remain active outside of his professional career. He is a regular swimmer and cyclist, and tries to get out to a gym at least five times a week. When he isn’t working out, he loves to watch movies and read. Some of his favorite books include the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, The Commonwealth of Thieves, and The Only Three Questions That Count.
