Duties involved a daily inspection of equipment, obiding by federal, state, and local governing laws while in transit, satisfying vendors, handling complaints, and completing all neccesary paperwork. As the owner, duties included setting up the next load of freight for each truck, paying invoices, maintaining contracts, keeping registrations and plates up to date, keeping daily/monthly/yearly inspections of equipment up to date, filing and paying all road taxes, federal taxes, etc., while also maintaining a driver pool.
