Dewoun M. Hayes has worked as an office professional for over 15 years, starting as a legal secretary. In 1993, she received a Diploma in Executive Secretarial Science from Catherine College where she graduated Valedictorian. She has a certificate in Human Resources from Northwestern University’s School of Continuing Studies and a Bachelors Degree in Psychology from the University of Phoenix. Dewoun is currently seeking a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training.
Dewoun is passionate about personal and professional development and mentors many individuals in order to improve and expand their personal and career development. She has written articles for professional websites such as OfficeArrow and has participated in panel discussions, workshops, and seminars. She founded the Dynamic Support Group, a company committed to training, educating, and consulting professionals with the necessary tools, tips, and techniques needed to institute the “pro” in professional. The Dynamic Support Group specializes in topics such as leadership, motivation, job search and interview techniques, communication, time and stress management, and conflict resolution.

Dewoun has been the membership chair for the Chicago Lakeshore Chapter of the IAAP since 2008 and holds the Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) and Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) designations.
