A veritable renaissance man with professional interests ranging from medicine to tourism, Dr. Cem Kinay serves as a model of success to ambitious entrepreneurs everywhere. Born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, Dr. Cem Kinay attended some of the finest elementary and secondary schools in the city. From 1969 to 1977, Dr. Cem Kinay received his education at St. George’s Austrian High School, where he forged strong relationships with its revered instructors and maintained an impeccable academic record. Steeped in the rigorous German-language pedagogical tradition, Dr. Cem Kinay benefited from the bilingual instruction and upon graduation entered the University of Vienna Medical Faculty (now known as the Medical University of Vienna). Attending one of the largest and most celebrated medical schools in Europe from 1977 to 1984, Dr. Cem Kinay performed remarkably well at the University of Vienna. In 1984, Dr. Cem Kinay earned his M.D. and soon received a post at the Vienna General Hospital (AKH). From 1985 to 1989, Dr. Cem Kinay performed a variety of duties as a practicing physician at the Vienna General Hospital and faithfully fulfilled the obligations of his profession. Along the way, Dr. Cem Kinay discovered a passion for tourism and hospitality and founded his own travel company, Gulet Touristik, in 1987. With an initial focus on sailing and yacht trips, Dr. Cem Kinay built Gulet Touristik as a pioneering tourism organization, introducing the concept of all-inclusive travel to the Austrian marketplace. By 1990, Dr. Cem Kinay diversified his interests to found MAGIC LIFE, a series of all-inclusive tourist clubs and cruise ships operating out of numerous Mediterranean points of interest, including Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Bulgaria, Austria, Tunisia, and Spain. At the helm of Gulet Touristik and MAGIC LIFE, Dr. Cem Kinay oversaw the development of his companies into some of the most popular travel organizations in Europe. Now Chairman and CEO of The O Property Collection, Dr. Cem Kinay develops large luxury properties in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, and elsewhere. An Austrian citizen since 1985, Dr. Cem Kinay currently lives in Key Biscayne, Florida.
