My name is Ed LoVuolo, a technical professional with many years of education and experience in object oriented programming, website design, graphic design, flash application development, Windows-based GUI application design and hard coded programming. I also have years of technical writing experience writing both hardware and software process instructions, maintenance guides, user guides, and instruction manuals. Some technical writing and development I have achieved has been web-based and maintained via HTML on a help portal. I also have designed marketing materials, presentations, and formulated graphs and charts for business needs.
In the last few years, I’ve excelled at constantly increasing my knowledge and experience for audio and music recording and engineering. I develop my own music via the computer, MIDI controllers, guitars, and keyboard. Much of my compositions are developed using various industry leading DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) software for all types of music arrangements (Ambient, Electronica, Metal, New Age, Punk, Hip-Hop, Techno, Trance, World and everything in-between). I have voice over talent and am a great narrator and decent singer for all live audio recording performance needs. I have completed a few CDs of my own music and have many more in progress, most of which are custom soundtracks to popular role playing and action games that many of us grew up with from the early days of MS-DOS to today’s smash hits. My Soundscapes Series focuses on relaxing, comforting, and peaceful easy listening and ambient music you can use for anything and everything you enjoy during those few and infrequent slower moments of life (i.e. a walk on the beach, a romantic dinner on a deck overlooking the sea, sessions at a day spa, a walk in the park, a drive through the country, or a picnic in the park). My three volume Theme Series focuses on mine and many people’s favorite leisurely activity… the sport of Golf. My discography highlights many of these albums, either completed or in progress. Plenty of my music samples are available upon request or by checking out my other Musician-membership pages.
My portfolio consists of many different areas of my work ranging from Website design, music discography which includes custom graphic designs and artwork, to some Flash applications I’ve designed, and finally, my last portfolio is a PowerPoint presentation viewer of my current home project studio known as Synthsations Audio and Video. The presentation highlights all areas of my home project studio for audio and music development needs, digital video creation, graphic, web, and flash design, media authoring, and marketing and presentation material creation.
Much of my work is scattered around the internet, but I plan to have my home project studio website up and running sometime in April of 2010 that highlights all areas and provides tons of work samples, links, project ideas, testimonials, and contact methods should you or a colleague have a project in mind. You’ll find my commitment to quality, excellence, and satisfaction drives me to provide the best user experience possible.
