I have been in the automotive business since 1986 and have worked in almost every aspect of the automotive field except for finance (Not a cold blooded person) Most of my experience in cars. Later some of my experience found its way into the Heavy truck market, from H/D pick ups to over the road Tractor Trailer rigs. Later I went to the Marine industry, working on gas and diesel boats, marine generators, marine transmissions and some electronics. Worked for a few diesel engine manufacturers Caterpillar, Cummins, and Yanmar. Worked on product and tech support as well as field support work. After years of enduring the aches and pains of the repair industry, I gravitated to Inspections. With my experience and knowledge of automotive and diesel systems I now go out to make judgements if the proposed repair is correct and necessary. Now I'm contracted through some of the Major extended warranty companies to evaluate repair claims.
