Hobbies & Interests

Private Pilot and Classic Aircraft owner, I enjoy the whole spectrum of vehicles having owned sail boats, motor boats, motorcycles, scooters, and go carts.

Keeping my hands busy I have learned many additional hobbies including Antique restorations, Tole painting, Airbrushing, and Pin striping,

I grew up building Radio Controlled model airplanes under the tutelage of my father and carried the hobby well into my thirties when I completed my Private Pilots license.

During that time I taught new pilots, wrote as Club Newsletter Editor for several years, and was involved in promoting the hobby through flight demonstrations and static display presentations, even conducting Adult Education Classes at a local Public School.

I drew a complete set of house plans based on a napkin discussion with a friend and he built a custom home in Dexter, Michigan. The plans were approved by the county after one small revision. The contractor has since built two more near Oscoda, Michigan
