Hi, all.

I am currently working to finish a Masters in Instructional Technology and will be certified to teach college when I am finished. I was working in a busy department building e-learning courses until laid off a few months ago.

I have been a mentor for the last 9 years and am involved in the public schools as a volunteer and career day presenter. I have created a number of unique presentations to get the students interested in new ideas and show them skills that will help them later.

It seems that the more you learn, the more you need to learn. Technology never stops developing. But that is what keeps it interesting.

I create activity books for children that teach various subjects in a fun, kid-friendly way. I have a line of books about various investment styles, several science books and a few others. I use them during career events, such as Bring Your Child to Work day and the Great American Teach-In.

I just started sculpting a few years ago. I enjoy letting the material tell me what it wants to look like.

I like to bake, butterfly garden, watch ice hockey (Go, Pens!) and do DIY projects around the house.
