Hi! My name is Emma and I am a freelance writer. My business specifically focuses on Website content development and management, and developing social marketing strategies. However, I have also written successful grants, articles and the odd fiction piece. I have only just become a full time work-at-home writer and it has been the best decision I ever made. Rough in spots, lonely at times, but always a fun and exciting challenge!

    While working as a dispatcher I learned to multitask and streamline my work process. Answering emergency calls, business calls, front counter requests and officers via radio were just some of the things I did. The really exciting projects were devloping our Peer Support policy and program, managing the department website and writing a grant in 2009 that brought in $280,000 over the next 4 years.

Wehn I'm not busy writing I'm playing my oboe or spending time with my sons (2yoa and 4yoa) and my husband. I'm a voracious reader and would rather spend time with a good book than to watch something on TV. I love to garden, remodel my house and try new restaurants with my husband. Most of all, I love discussing life, business and writing with my online friends.
