I am currently working on securing a Full time position as a safety engineer/mgr, with a company in Arizona, where I hopefully wont have to travel 95% of the time. 50% is plenty. And balancing that w
I am a degreed safety professional. As a consultant, I am working on training companies and employees that they can have an accident free environment.
It seems after all these years of SAFETY being a bad word, and all these years of bringing that bad word to the forefront where people learn that working safe not only "is not hard", its easier than working unsafe. Its more productive than working unsafe. Most of all, it "enables" us on a daily basis, to go home to the ones who make our lives the most important; family. Yep, it seems like we are getting somewhere. Lets just hope the financial situation what the world is faceing, does not destroy all the effort that has been put into this effort. Lets hope that employers dont start mininmizing safety, to save a buck, as we have proven that is NOT the way.
I play sports, love family time, and love being out in the environment.
I absolutely hate the concept of people destroying the environment simply because they dont care.
I absolutely LOVE discussing environmental issues with someone who knows what they are talking about, and learning about ways that a difference can be made.
