As a Project/Construction Manager/Owner's Representative with 30 years in the commercial arena, my experience in the construction industry is extensive. It includes program, project and construction management functions; owner's representative services; claims investigation; constructability reviews; contractor pre-qualification; contract review; code review and administration; auditing; and project risk analysis. Other experience includes active participation in the claims resolution process where bonded principals have defaulted and the obligee demanded the surety resolve the claim. As part of the claims resolution process, I was directly involved with the evaluation, investigation and validation of claims as well as participating in legal proceedings including acting as a fact and expert witness. I also oversaw the completion of takeover contractors for defaulted bonded principals.I have been involved with both public and private projects including airport facilities, retail centers, office buildings, condominiums, hotels, parking garages, theaters, theme park attractions, infrastructure, and public buildings.
