Hi! One of the principles of Job Angels is to help another person find work. For that reason, I'd like to see if we have any volunteers willing to help with one of the following groups:

a) Resume critiquing - this will be offered free of charge and allows a job seeker the opportunity to have others review your resume to see if anything needs tweaking. Especially for those of you who have been seeking jobs for several months, it may be time to have someone review the resume and see if anything needs improvement.  Note that critiquing a resume and offering advice is not the same as someone re-writing the resume for you, or creating a resume for you. For those issues, you may want to seek the services of someone who is a Certified Professional Resume Writer.

b) Cover letter critiquing - another free service allowing members to have their cover letters reviewed by another member.

c) Networking - A group of people willing to offer advice and suggestions for those who are trying to learn or improve their networking tips.

For anyone who is willing to offer assistance, please either respond on here, or by clicking on my name and sending me a message.

Are there other areas that might be helpful? What about areas such as how to stretch that money further, advice on fixing credit, dealing with the emotional issues that arise during a job search, etc? Would any of you want to volunteer in any of these areas?
