About Me

I Believe My Diverse Life has Molded Me into the Perfect Candidate for Any Company in Today's Economy.

Years ago you got educated either in school or on the job and you focused on that one job until you retired. Now all that has changed! In today's economy it is a necessity to broaden your horizons. One job or position in a company just does not last that long any more. Today most people change careers 6-8 times before retiring. Also, you have to deal with many more issues that were not a factor twenty years ago. Benefits, harassment, payroll, laws, unemployment, law suits,HR,ever reducing work force, lack of good work ethics, and employees that do not have manners or a clue of what customer service should be like.

That is why I have two associate degrees one in office management and one in general studies (See Portfolio School). That way I could get the broadest education possible. I studied law, finance, brand recognition, advertising, marketing, business, computers, statistics, and inventory management.

I have worked in many different fields. Retail,Military(See Portfolio in US Army), direct services, finance, travel, real estate, investments, aerospace, construction, and security.

Also, I have sold products any way you can think of. Over the internet, door to door,telemarketing,B2B,non-profit, barter, classified ads and mail order.

Because of these jobs I have worked many projects. Loss prevention, set up suggestion programs,SOP's,P&L's,Site selection, display merchandising, marketing, scheduling, and many other projects.

Present School Life:

In 2008 I enrolled at the University of Phoenix on campus ( I go every Monday to Labs in the morning and class at night 9am-10pm) to pursue a career in marketing and management. I knew this would be a good opportunity since the economy was on a downward spiral. I only have approximately six months left to complete my BA then I plan on continuing to get my master's degree in administration and marketing. Port.School.

Work life:

I have been working 3 jobs ever since high school. I like keeping busy and I am no stranger to hard work.

My primary job, for over 20 year, has been in retail management. I have made a positive impact on every place I have worked. With my extensive background I can work in HR, Training, Marketing, or any type of management. Although I have found retail fun, and challenging (with the hours 70-80 a week) it does not make for a good quality of life. Unless I can find a retail job with less hours, I will be looking to change careers, something with regular hours and weekends off. I strive to ensure safety and enhance company profitability. See Portfolio Family Dollar.

I focus on high quality and productivity to meet and exceed goals and objectives in a timely manner. I have extensive experience in human resource policies, budget processes, and managing improvement teams to improve efficiency and reduce costs. I work well under pressure and on the fly, and regularly interface at all levels of management and the workforce. On multiple occasions, I have successfully resolved crisis situations and serious customer relations problems. With my 2 degrees and years of experience in sales industries, I have the versatility to be able to contribute in a variety of environments. Through training and motivation, I work to maximize team results and develop my people to fully utilize their skills and maximize their contribution.

At present, I own an internet travel business (My wife and I are registered travel agents, she handles most travel) with two web sights. www.ParadiseCruisen.gttrends.net and www.TimeToLook.4MyDeals.com. See Portfolio Travel Agent.

I breed and train Rottweiler’s when I have time. I am the Managing Director of a Non-Profit Organization, The Rottweiler Protection League-We Protect,While You Sleep. See Portfolio Managing Director.

Also, with all that I do, I am best known for teaching country western dance every Saturday night and specializing in making the Bride look great at her wedding.

I would enjoy discussing how we could utilize my experience and training to meet your goals. We would develop and complete projects that enhance the success of your team and company.

Personal Life:

I am a Cajun from New Orleans,LA. I love to go back home for Mardi Gras. My wife and I now live in Round Rock, TX and love it here. There is so much to do here that you will never get board. I would love to spend my spare time on the water.I love horse back riding, hot air ballooning and scuba diving.
