About Me

A skilled and dedicated educator, Mr. Jeffrey Guli is employed as a fifth grade teacher at Albert Payson Terhune Elementary School in Wayne, New Jersey, beginning in 2007. Having found the experience tremendously rewarding, Jeffrey Guli hopes to continue his growth as an educator and share his enthusiasm for education with students for years to come. Currently, Jeffrey Guli is affiliated with both the New Jersey Education Association (NJEA) and the Wayne Education Association (WEA). He also volunteers for a YMCA’s anti drug youth program.

Jeffrey Guli became interested in teaching after serving as a teacher’s aide at the David Gregory School in Paramus, New Jersey. In this position, Jeffrey Guli worked with autistic, developmentally disabled, students with drug problems, and behaviorally disabled children from the ages of 7 to 14. Jeffrey Guli learned a great deal about lesson planning, and engaging students in small group instruction. Prior to entering the education field, Jeffrey Guli worked as a patrolman for the Wildwood Police Department in Wildwood, New Jersey. He was the primary arresting officer to various drugs (including marijuana), domestic violence, and theft arrests. His experiences greatly enhanced many of the skills he would use later in his career as a teacher.

Jeffrey Guli earned his undergraduate degree from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. Receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Art Management, Jeffrey was an active presence on campus, playing intramural volleyball and basketball. Jeffrey Guli enrolled and received a teaching cert. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. He is currently in pursuit of a Master’s degree in Education. When not preparing his lesson plans, Jeffrey spends his time volunteering for the local YMCA, teaching a youth program anti drug program.
