A veteran of the tourism and hospitality industry, Mr. Jesse Masek of Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts has found consistent success over the course of his career through a strong and highly results-focused approach to management. Jesse Masek currently utilizes his skills as the Office Manager of Martha’s Vineyard Hardwood Floors. Particularly adept at financial management, Jesse Masek is studying to become a Certified Public Accountant and has successfully completed a 30-credit graduate certificate program in accounting from the University of Massachusetts at Dartmouth.

Jesse Masek first became involved in tourism and hospitality as a member of the team at Martha's Vineyard Ocean Sports. With the company for five years, Jesse Masek served as a crewmember on the company’s charter boat tours. Recently, Jesse Masek returned to Martha’s Vineyard Ocean Sports, serving as the manager of operations and as Captain of the company’s 32' Paracraft Warrior Winchboat. Outside of his current and former work with Martha's Vineyard Ocean Sports, Jesse Masek has also held positions as a Captain and crewmember of various charter boating enterprises in Hawaii, including West Maui Parasail and the Hyatt Regency Maui Resort and Spa.

Jesse Masek received his formal education in business management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. Earning a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in marketing, Jesse Masek was widely active on campus and served as a Student Government Senator for both years of his enrollment. In addition to his Bachelor’s degree, Jesse Masek also received his Associate degree from Cape Fear Community College.

When he is not busy preparing for the CPA exam, Jesse Masek enjoys hiking, lifting weights, surfing, and practicing yoga. Jesse Masek also enjoys reading and lists The Age of Spiritual Machines by Ray Kurzweil, My Life by former President Bill Clinton, and Gaia: A New Look at Life on Earth by James Lovelock as his personal favorites.
