My name is Jewel Mckie, I am 44 years of age and a single parent with two children ages 4 and 22. When asked to tick the most appropriate box in the job interest section, I was a bit undecided, since I totally love sales and marketing. I believe I can sell anything. I have also written many Marketing Plans for Small Business Owners. However, I thought that clerical may be best suited, since I am looking for a work at home job, and my location is not in the USA. I am also an active Christian with a passion for God and the things which concern Him. I have just completed a school years training/3 semesters in the Prophetic Ministry studies. I sincerely expect to be able to put this knowledge to active use in helping others; this was just by the way. I am currently unemployed, and I am seeking a source of income from home. This would allow me to shuttle my four year old son to and from school, and still commit to a full days work.

My last two years in High School, were spent in a Secretarial form, and as a result I went on to continue studies in this area gaining a Typist-Receptionist Diploma. The course dealt with the proper use of English as it relates to letter writing and the business world, office equipment, customer relations and of course Typing.

I have a Certificate in Small Business Management from BIMAP, a leading Business college in Barbados. This course covers from the formation to set up of a Business, to Marketing ones products and/or services, Sales, the day to day activities involved in planning a Business, Human resource Management, to Book-keeping and Accounts, and Payroll. It is a thorough enough course for an individual aspiring to start a business.

A Certificate in Supervisory Management, further exposed me to the level of responsibility expected from a Senior person.

I also completed a number of short courses in Sales.

A lot of my spare time is spent surrounding the Church. As mentioned earlier, I just completed a year of studying the Prophetic Ministry. These classes will resume in September, however, I am awaiting acceptance on the Practical Training course, which allows you to Minister to individuals. This acceptance is needed, since the Training starts in a Church of which I am not a member. It will begin in about another two weeks and is expected to be on-going.

I like reading, but much of the time is spent reading biblical material and health to a large extent. I also spend time surfing the net when in need of information.
