Planned, developed and wrote the initial grant for an
innovative treatment program serving Native American
substance abusers utilizing the seat lodge. Program implemented and highly therapeutic and successful, not just with the Native American populations but also with the non Natives, particularly the adolescents.

Program providing total, integrated service to the most acute of the chronically mentally ill population on an outreach basis. Did the initial grant and pilot project for the Division of Mental Health. Designed by mandate to be non-traditional, innovative and unorthodox.

Planned, developed, implemented and directed the first Continuous Tx Team on the East Coast. Highly successful. All new programs on the East Coast were patterned after it and led to the ACT programs and Intensive Treatment programs. Provided medication monitoring, crisis intervention, counseling and case management services.

Heavily involved in de-institutionalization of the state hospitals in PA. Step-by-Step offered multi-tiered residential rehabilitation services to the chronically mentally ill.

Planned, developed and implemented Crisis Intervention programs and Partial, Day Treatment programs. Developed all medical guidelines for residences and Partial programs.
