John Gavin Shoreline Networks President and Chief Executive Officer A proven veteran of the technology manufacturing industry, Mr. John Gavin brings extensive experience in executive management to his current role as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Shoreline Networks, Inc. in Capistrano Beach, California. Founded in 2006, Shoreline Networks specializes in providing unique and fully customized networking and telecommunications solutions to clients in public and private sectors. John Gavin formed Shoreline Networks after 10 years of successfully managing Southland Micro Systems, a Southern California memory software manufacturer. In his leadership capacity, John Gavin directs all of the company’s strategic operations, including marketing and sales initiatives. John Gavin also serves as the chief liaison between Shoreline Networks and a number of prominent technology manufacturers, including Cisco, Sun, 3Com, HP, and Nortel. Through his diligence in developing and maintaining these relationships, John Gavin has helped to ensure that his clients receive only the highest quality tech products on the market. Since 2006, John Gavin’s intelligent and forward-thinking managerial style has caused Shoreline Networks to experience an 80% year-over-year growth in revenues. In the time he spends away from the office, John Gavin is an active and dedicated member of his community. A former collegiate lacrosse player, John Gavin often volunteers as a youth sports coach for Little League baseball and youth lacrosse. John Gavin also donates to a variety of local, national, and international charitable endeavors, including World Vision, Goodwill, and the American Red Cross. An alumnus of the University of New Hampshire, Mr. John Gavin earned his undergraduate degrees in English and American History. John Gavin still maintains a strong interest in American History and has donated to numerous organizations focused on teaching history and preserving American cultural traditions.
