About Me

Overview:

I'm a 23 year old marketing professional with experience in the construction and process piping industries. For the past 3 years I have been marketing CADPIPE software (www.cadpipe.com), gaining experience in sales and marketing activities, including offline and especially online techniques. I have played a key role in the development of my company's website and have built numerous ad campaigns. More recently I have been gaining experience conducting consulting/training for a building information modeling solution called ArtrA. I am also in the midst of my first MBA course and am doing very well. I expect to have my MBA by 2011 and my second masters in marketing management by 2012.

Detail:

My primary responsibility as marketing coordinator for AEC is to design and implement a yearly integrated marketing communications plan. This helps my company by analyzing our current marketing problems and defining clear goals to address them. The plan also helps to coordinate sales, marketing, and management activities to accomplish our goals. I am also in charge of creating quarterly and yearly marketing plans for our partner, AutoDesk Inc. These plans help ensure a continued positive relationship between AEC and our partner, by demonstrating our cooperation and willingness to market both company's products.

Part of implementing these plans is conducting our online presence and campaigns. A big piece to this puzzle is our Google and Yahoo Search advertising campaigns. I was put in charge of creating and implementing these campaigns which I have grown into our number one source of high quality leads. Roughly thirty percent of all prospects who download our demo software come through Google advertisements across the web. I also set up banner advertisements on key industry websites. The system I created is so effective in the sense that AEC can track a prospect all the way from discovery to sale, and know exactly where the customer first heard our name. This helps in tracking down the absolute best lead sources so we can further invest in them. The system has been very effective and our company is still showing strong sales despite the dwindling economy.

I've also gained experience in email marketing, and created AEC's first email marketing campaigns. I set up a machine that automatically responds to customer's when they download our demo software, providing further instruction, information, and ways to get in touch with our sales staff. This helps to ensure that our prospect has all the information they need at their fingertips, and also gives us their information that we use to conduct a follow up call. Another large purpose of our email marketing is to communicate with current customers, keeping them up to date on new versions of the software and industry trends. I've created numerous press releases, product announcement and promotion emails.

I have also gained extensive experience in planning for company trade shows. I handle everything involved with the show. For example, ordering the booth, supplies, marketing materials, equipment, booking hotels, making travel arrangements and other trade show related tasks.

Another offline marketing technique I have used is publications/magazines. I reserve space, create advertisements, and track return on investment.

As for additional skills I am very efficient with a computer, especially Microsoft Office software. I am a fast learner and almost never need to be shown the same process twice. I communicate cleary, effectively, and have experience handling difficult customer situations.

More recently I have been conducting consulting and training of ArtrA BIM software. This has given me experience in the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Virtual Design & Construction (VDC) software and its impact on the construction process. The implementation of these solutions will significantly change the way a project's data is used before, during, and after its completion.
