Managed a department of 36 Homemaker/Companions for a medium sized non-profit. Scheduling staff for in home homemaker/companion services and case-management for up to 250 elderly/disabled persons while overseeing the department budget. Grew the department from 16 staff and 75 clients to 36 staff and 250 clients while developing relationships with all funding sources to bring in referrals.

I left in 2005 to go back to the job I previously held which is case-management for persons displaced from employment.

Case management for persons seeking to transition from welfare to work. Facillitate workshops in life skills, resume and cover letters, interview skills and a variety of other things pertinent to employment. Job development was also an integral part of the job. Determination of barriers to employment and solutions by development of an employment plan. Referral to all types of resources from GED classes to substance abuse programs and everything in between.

In charge of all community CPR/First Aid classes and private industry CPR/First Aid classes held within the communities we served. Also headed up the Disaster programs which responded to fires and other disasters in the community and beyond. Certifed HIV/AIDS Education instructor.
