Dr. Juan Bravo is the founder of his own medical practice, Juan Bravo MD PL, where he sees patients in need of specialized wound care or hyperbaric oxygen therapy. Dr. Bravo is highly skilled in both medical disciplines and is an active member of the Florida Medical Association, the American Academy of Wound Management, and the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society. Dr. Juan Bravo’s expertise in hyperbaric medicine is very rare in his area; he is one of only 24 board-certified hyperbaric medical physicians in the entire state of Florida.

Dr. Juan Bravo is an acknowledged expert in both of his medical specialties and is often a featured speaker at medical conferences involving wound care and hyperbaric medicine, including those sponsored by pharmaceutical companies like Pfizer and Organogenesis. Dr. Bravo is passionate about spreading awareness in the medical community about the latest technological advances in wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He regularly leads doctors, nurses, and medical students around his clinic to inform them about his work.

Dr. Juan Bravo studied Industrial Microbiology as an undergraduate and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Puerto Rico, from which he graduated with honors. Shortly after graduation, Dr. Bravo enrolled in the Ponce School of Medicine and earned his Doctor of Medicine degree four years later. Dr. Bravo then chose to spend his residency at the University of Florida School of Medicine in St. Petersburg, Florida.

In his spare time, Dr. Juan Bravo enjoys cooking and exercising, especially playing tennis and swimming. He also likes to read and spend time with family and friends.

Dr. Juan Bravo currently resides in southern Florida.
