About Me

I have a very diverse management background. I started in food service which taught me my sense of customer service urgency, from there I took on one of my passions Fashion (soft lines) which taught me about growing the right team and how to train others which turned out to be one of my greatestes accomplishements- teaching others how to retain information and putting it to practical use to maximize team growth and company leaders. From there I took on the world of Big Box to get a feel for what others might say would be the challenge of a life time. There I learned fanatical customer service ( truely a step above)and how to deliver results which by the way also taught me how to be global ( four wall management). As a manager you need to know the complete business to succeed. Some managers are speical in certain areas while global managers are well learned in all areas of their business and able to think out side the box to get results when needed. After Big Box I went to electronics where I learned how to "GET THE BUY IN" that means having the ability to motivate your team to accomplish the end results. When your staff beleives in it's leader and they can speak to their own impact on the business and you have half the game won. Being a good coach means you have to Live The Example. I have never asked a team member to do anything they have not already seen me do. No one wants to work for a dictator. Teams love to feel their importance and that they make a difference. I learned to give it all away( teach your people as much as possible cross training to be global show them the numbers, make them apart of owning that business). I learned that a good Leader plans every mission, briefs her team, de-briefs the team on the wins and opportunities and during the mision gives consistant feedback so there are no surprises as to where the TEAM IS AT ANY GIVEN TIME. By doing this I grew other leaders( WOO_HOO). Team Trust is one of the Greatest Tools a manager can have in this tool belt. I love to have fun at what ever I'm doing and that is very infectious and causes others to want to be apart. I also have a very competive spirit and I love to win and I grow a team with the same thought process. Win Big the Boss Loves That.
