I had the wonderful pleasure to meet and work with this young lady at my office during the summers at The KENSINGTON unit (1991-2004). Here she was my right hand..literally. I had broken my arm when she came aboard..her dictational skills, stenographer skills were INVALUABLE. She is both skilled in shorthand and transcribing, which were A MUST!

Tonya's strong points have to be her efficency and ability to think quickly, and get things done correctly. She is very goal oriented, focused and a problem solver. Tonya requires very little supervion. She knows what needs too be done, and goes about getting it done!She is both a quick thinker and excellent problem solver.

Tonya's biggest contribution, outside of her ability to maintain and run the office, greet/meet our clients, direct visitors, a heavy 5 line system, run errand, pack/ship UPS, keep track of all the probation officers, as well as doing their expense report, spread sheets, entering all data by hand is this ..HER PERSONALITY..

Her interaction with out clients, sometimes in a hostile environment, Tonya consistently showed empathy, concern, and maintained a pleasant attitude and was professional at all times. Her exhuberant disposition is both nurturing and captivating. Tonya is also extremely approachable and easy to talk too. This was important because we often dealt with very sensitve, very personal, confidental family matters. Her approach to the sensitivity of others is outstanding!

In 2004, KENSIGTON UNIT was dismantled and closed. Although this occurred, I offerd Tonya further employment as my personal assistant which she glady accepted. Tonya was then employed by me (personally) for yet another 2 years(2004-2006).

Personally, I can't tell how invaluable she was to me. I could NEVER describe Tonya's MANY assests she contributed to THE KENSIGTON UNIT and as my PERSONAL ASSISTANT in this letter.

Tonya would be a great element to add in ANY setting. She is fun, charming, and a joy to be around.
