During the Viet Nam conflict a lot of my buddies were being drafted. I failed the physical because of an injury received playing college football. I joined the Sheriff's department in St. Mary Parish Louisiana. I figured that if I couldn't get into the military, I would serve my community in this manner. I attended the La-FBI instructor training program and became a certified police instructor and worked as the local law enforcement academy director for several years until my retirement in 1996.
I had worked in the oilfield previously and went to work for ENSCO Marine supervising the day to day operations of seven supply ships and their crews. I found the work interesting and rewarding and continued to eork in the marine logistics industry until today.
I have learned that the truth is the truth and it is what it is, but some people have trouble with the truth. This has caused some problems, however my integrity has not been breached, and I will keep it that way as long as I live.
