Just signed a contract with CNIC for cover designs and presentations. After seeing my work they offered me two more.

About Me

I am a creative professional with eight years experience in graphic design and project development from initial concept to finished product, delivering on time and within budget. I am accustomed to working on multiple projects, communicating ideas and capturing interest of intended audience. I also have a passion for good design, layout and typography—crazy about color and the emotions they evoke connecting the essence of the product to the message. Layering retail buying, sales and marketing management skills with design and layout, my background has given me a unique set of qualities understanding the other side of the advertising industry.

About me...
I have always worked in some sort of creative avenue. I believe it started when I was around 8 years old and began painting classes. My favorite present as a child was new paper and new crayons. The texture, color and form of letters and shapes grabbed me then and has always been apart of my soul. I feel color and yes, am sometimes more sensitive to things than I might prefer. I have a love affair with type and letterforms and was probably designing logos before I even knew what they were.

I also feel color and believe they have a profound affect on us much more than we realize. I know they do for me. From zesty oranges to provacative pinks, luscious greens and transcendent blues. Oh yeah! I could go on but won't right now. I'll save that for some other edit.

As a graphic artist, I take inspiration from everything around me. Film, music, current events and history. It's really all encompassing which I think is what drew me to this profession. I love it and one of the greatest gifts you can have is doing what you love and loving what you do. Being able to make a living at it is just cream. I was a Creative Director for a publishing company and am currently seeking a position in a more progressive design agency. I'm contemplating my own business but need more cashflow before that's possible.

I firmly believe life should be lived passionately and it's not so much finding yourself, but creating yourself to be the key to happiness. This conviction is probably the reason I won Excellence in Expressive Content in an art show a few years ago.

More about me... I love concerts. Classical and rock in particular. Tool is my all time favorite band and have gone to great lengths to see perform. Even in the mosh pit. My son thought I had lost my mind but oh well, he's a teenager. I loved YoYo Ma just as much though. So I have a wide range of interests in music and multicultural events.
