My time in business school was spent, not only on doing homework and being a campus organization leader, but also on learning the art and business of craft brewing. I began volunteering my time at a local brewpub in 2007. Soon, as the company prospered they began to expand and I was offered a part time position there. I spent the next year working side by side with professional brewers learning the ins and outs of brewing and the beer business. I have brewed hundreds of barrels of beer, packaged thousands of bottles, represented the company at numerous events, and taken part in many marketing and R&D creative sessions. Working in the beer business is the most fulfilling and rewarding experience I have ever had.

I left the brewery on the first of this year to aid a family business in a time of transition. Currently, I work as the National Accounts Manager for Decker Mfg Co. As you will find on my resume I am responsible for all outside sales and marketing activity. It is a great job where I am intellectually and creatively challenged every day. However, my passion still lays in the beer and adult beverage industry. I have no intention of making my position here at Decker permanent and my superior has been aware of this since day one. I will finish a full year here in December at which point I would like to relocate.
