CDC Hazardous Waste Management – Project duties included: removing waste from satellite accumulation areas weekly, categorizing and segregating waste for proper short-term storage in a 90-day accumulation area, and lab-packing waste for shipment to a disposal facility.

Work under the Superfund Technical Assessment and Response Team (START) contract as both a Scientist and an R2 Emergency Responder–Duties include: collection of soil, sediment, air, surface water and ground water samples, maintenance of a log book, laboratory data management, preparation of interim and final reports, and equipment readiness.

Site Field Lead, Woolfolk Chemical Company, Fort Valley, GA-Project duties include: providing technical support for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency including soil sampling, maintenance of a database created to manage analytical data, budgeting of project expenses, management of project staffing, communication with the laboratory, and preparation of interim reports.

Constructed and operated various toxic gas neutralization systems.
Experience with many gases including fluorine, chlorine trifluoride,diborane, ammonia, arsine, uranium hexafluoride, and phosphine. Worked with clients such as Matheson Tri-Gas, DOE, DoD, Department of Homeland Security, Northrop-Grumman Space Technology, Pollution Control Industries, and Bechtel-Jacobs Company. Monitored health and safety of fellow workers. Prepared end of project reports, daily logs, and field notes. Participated in Hurricane Rita remediation by identifying, inventorying and treating gas cylinders.Helped develop and build a reclamation and recycling system for SDS1 and SDS2 cylinders
