About Me

I have spent the last ten years as the Private Event Sales Director with the Capital City Club in Raleigh, North Carolina. During this time, I have gained a great deal of department head sales management, sales, planning and relative consulting experiences. After long consideration, I decided to resign this position and pursue other challenging, sales/account management opportunities. I desire to be employed by a company who will provide me with additional training and challenges that will further enhance my sales and management abilities. I am self-motivated, a quick-study and I am definitely goal driven. My biggest flaw at this point is that I do not have a platform to showcase my talents/abilities and I am eager get back to work with the right company.

    Worked at the Club for over 19 years in several capacities. Started as as server and moved my way into staff management before taking a sales/planning position in 2000 as the Private Event Sales Director. This was a department head role where I was responsible for all aspects of sales/planning & marketing to achieve an average of 1.4 million annually in F&B.

    North Carolina State University at Raleigh
    Attended NCSU while working full-time with the Capital City Club. Did not complete my bachelor's degree in Accounting and hope to return soon to complete this endeavor.

Most recent certified training was provided by my previous Company, ClubCorp, called PSS Training (Professional Selling Skills), which focused primarily on consultative selling techniques.

Prior member of NACE (National Association of Catering Executives).

Hobbies & Interests

I'm crazy about golf and really anything outdoors when it is nice. When I find the more time, I'm hoping to volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
