About Me

I am a Polysomnographer (Sleep Tech) seeking a position which will allow me to utilize my various skills and demonstrate my ability to work effectively with customers and co-workers. I possess very good performance and organizational skills along with an excellent work ethic. My additional assets include being a highly motivated team player and an efficient worker noted for accuracy and timeliness. My performance evaluations have consistently been at the above average and outstanding levels, and I can furnish excellent references should you need them.

During the past six years, I have been heavily involved in the medical community as a certified respiratory therapist with my primary focus being in the specialty field of polysomnography (sleep disorders studies). I have been able to broaden my experiences with some travel/contract work while maintaining my BCLS certification. Due to the nature of my profession, I am equally comfortable with working in either a hospital environment or a free-standing lab setting alone or as a member of a team. I am currently “Registry Eligible” and ready to sit for my BRPT National Registry exam.

As an added bonus to my skill set, I have good proficiency at reading, writing and speaking French. I also have prior experience in the South Carolina Army State Guard as a Captain (promotable). While there, I served two years as a company commander and was later moved up to battalion headquarters staff as the S-1 (personnel administration). I also completed several FEMA courses while with the Guard as outlined in my attached résumée.

My attached résumée should also attest to the fact that I can be a valuable asset to your establishment, and should you agree that my background is a good match for your requirements, I welcome the occasion to meet with you to further explore this excellent mutual opportunity. I feel confident that I can provide a high degree of leadership while contributing to the overall goals of your outstanding organization.

I thank you in advance for your time and consideration. I’m excited about discussing my qualifications and I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Michael R. Sullivan, CRT, PsgT
